Superfood Energy Balls

Not only are our superfood balls delicious, but they are also packed with all sorts of nutrients and health benefits! Walnuts, dates, chia, flax and hemp seeds are packed with fiber and antioxidants which help create a healthy gut and can control and stabilize blood sugar. These ingredients along with cinnamon and cacao powder also contain anti-inflammatory properties which can improve cholesterol and blood pressure.and are good for brain health and function.

Walnuts, hemp seeds and flax seeds contain a good source of omega 3s which are the “good” fats and coconut oil contains medium chain triglycerides which are all great for heart and brain health and weight management. Chia, hemp and flax seeds are also a good source of high quality protein. Chia and dates contain several minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium which are all great for bone health! There are so many reasons to make and enjoy these superfood balls while you rake in all the yummy benefits!

Makes approximately 16-20 balls with about 5-8mg of CBD per ball

Ingredients:

1 cup packed pitted dates
1 1/2 cups raw walnuts
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 1/2 tbsp hemp seeds
1-2 tbsp hemp seeds (for coating)
1 tbsp ground flax seeds
2 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp pink himalayan sea salt
1 1/2-2 tbsp melted coconut oil
3 droppers of Zadaka (more or less depending on your preference)

Directions:

Blend walnuts for a minute or so until broken down (should still have some small chunks). Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until sort of dough is formed. Take heaping tablespoon roll into balls and set in the freezer for 2 hours. Roll balls in hemp seeds and enjoy!

*Can be stored in the fridge for up to a week and freezer for up to 3 months
